Cherokee Scouting provides space for all units within the Cherokee District, Circle 10 Council, in north central Texas. If you would like to find out how to set up or care for your units site, transfer it from another server, or link to it where it is now please send E-Mail to webmaster@cherokeescouting.org and we will be glad to help.

Cherokee Scouting will also provide web space for any scout units at NO charge and with NO restrictions other than the Scout Law . We do not however offer space for personal pages. If you would like to put up a site for your Troop, Pack, Ship, or Crew we would be glad to help. 

Cherokee Scouting is made possible by the generosity of
Ultra-Vision internet service in the Cedar Creek Lake area of North East Texas, their customers and Scouts around the world. 

The scouting server is run and built on donations from these friends. Because Ultra-Vision is an ISP they do offer web space for other type sites as well for a reasonable fee. 

We ask, but do not require, that you put a link to us somewhere on your site and we DO NOT put banner adds or any other content on your site. 

The Server has been designed to work with Microsoft's FrontPage or you may use FTP all we need to get started is a username and password (6-8 letters and or numbers) that you would like to use. We will then set up your access and you should be all set. Should you require any help please feel free to ask. 

We also can register Domain Names for $25 per year if or when you decide you want one.
